Chiteyi Golu (God of Justics) In Almora


Chiteyi Golu (God of Justics) is situated 6kms from Almora, along the road to Pithoragarh., This place has been named Chiteyi Golu (God of Justics) after the deity. The temple is visited by thousand of devotees from different parts of the state. aisi manayata hai ki yaha ke Golu God appne Justisss ke liye jane jate hai. kisi ka bhi koi bhi.
The shrine and the trees in the compound are decorated with bells offered by devotees who tie a bell either while making a wish or in thanksgiving.This temple was at one time, a virtual law court, for the deity receives many pleas from the distressed.
