Dehradun, Nov 19 (PTI) Security has been strengthened in two schools in Uttarakhand following threats by militants to blow them, official sources said today.
Jawans of Provincial Armed Constabulary have been posted at the city-based Doon School and Woodstock School located in Mussoorie.
A bunker has been built outside the Doon School and armed policemen posted there, official sources said adding that directions to install CCTVs also given.
Besides, policemen in plain clothes are keeping a close watch on the activities of people visiting the area.
When contacted, Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, Abhinav Kumar said that security has been stepped up around these schools as a safety measure.
