Dehradun, Nov 19 (PTI) The dreaded swine flu today claimed one more life, taking the total deaths due to the disease in Uttarakhand to four.
Nodal Officer the state, Dr Pankaj Jain today told reporters that a student, Pranav Solanki studying in a local school was admitted to Himalayan Hospital few days back after suspecting swine flu and his blood samples were sent to Delhi.
According to blood report received yesterday, Solanki tested H1N1 positive and later when his parents were contacted, it came to light that he had died on November 9, Jain said.
He also said that prior to this, three persons including one women had died of swine flu and added that Solanki's parents too have been given medicines
