Dehradun, Feb 9 (PTI) An accountant of state-owned Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) was arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs one lakh, officials said today.
Mahendra Kumar Bhargav was arrested by a vigilance team yesterday while accepting the bribe for settling an electricity bill.
Later, a raid was conducted by the vigilance team at Bhargav's house and Rs 13 lakh in cash, some jewellery and documents of properties and other investments were recovered.
