Meerut, May 13 (PTI) Portals of the Badrinath temple situated in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand will be reopened on May 19 after remaining closed for about six months.
"The portals of Bardinath temple will be reopened on May 19," Shri Badrinath temple priest Rawal Keshava Nambadridad said here yesterday.
The temple, situated at 3133-metre high Garhwal Himalayas, was closed on November last year.
On May 18 the portals of Kedarnath temple will also be reopened.
Similarly, the portals of Gangotri and Yamunotri temples situated in Uttarkashi district would reopen on May 16 coinciding with the Akshya tritiya
