Dehra Dun, Feb 2 Uttarakhand Governor B L Joshi today visited the prestigious Indian Military Academy (IMA) here and laid a wreath on the war memorial to pay tributes to the martyrs.
Later, interacting with the Gentlemen Cadets at the IMA, Joshi lauded the role of Indian army not only during wars but also in peacetime and said jawans of the army are always prepared to serve the people.
Joshi, who was received by Commandant of IMA, Lt Gen R S Sujlana, was also briefed on the history of the IMA.
Joshi also visited the historic Chetwode hall and museum gallary of the IMA.
