Dehra Dun, Jan 21 (PTI) Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank today gave a patient hearing to the problems of people and sanctioned on the spot financial assistance for the needy.
At his official residence, Nishank sanctioned an amount of Rs one lakh to one Shankar Masih of Piran Kaliyar, who lost both of his sons in a road accident, said an official statement.
Similarly, he also gave an amount of Rs 50,000 to one Atar Singh of Dehra Dun for undergoing a surgery.
Nishank also directed the officials to facilitate the early payment of all dues to the retired employees of the state government.
