Dehra Dun, May 7 (PTI) Uttarakhand Chief Minister R P Nishank?s helicopter today force landed at Kotdwar due to bad weather, police sources said.
The chopper carrying the Chief Minister, which took off from Haldwani town in Kumaon region, was on its way back to Dehra Dun when the weather turned bad and the pilot took the helicopter to Kotdwar town in Pauri district.
"As a precautionary measure, the chopper landed at Kotdwar since the weather in Dehra Dun and Haridwar was bad," said a civil aviation official.
Due to this, the chopper flight was delayed by nearly 2 hours, the official added.
